Spanish Fork - Now and Then

It's hard to see but this is G&G Taylor's first house in Spanish Fork. It looks the same, just the trees in front are humongous! Next picture is Park Elementary school.

Main street hasn't changed much. And the old stake building where my siblings and I were baptised. I didn't realize it's just across the street from our grandparents old home.

This is the old 8th ward building where we all went to church. The next picture is the new Sunny Ridge ward chapel where we currently go. Our ward is growing so fast that it fills the entire chapel and cultural hall. It has almost doubled in size in only 9 months.
Here's the old homestead. The yard is about as sad as always.
Across the street where the old gravel pit was now stands a Junior High School.

We love the view out our back windows - and Morty likes lounging out on the back porch.

It's been fun to reminisce as we reaquaint ourselves with this community. Brings back lots of good ol' memories.

Cool. Spanish Fork has sure grown over the years ... especially recently. I love telling my kids that you lived here at their ages. They think that is just A.MAZE.ING! haha

I love the picture of Mort on the back porch. So cute.

I don't recognize Grandma's old house from your picture - we did drive past it a couple of years ago. The yard is totally overgrown. Our old house looks alot nicer than it used to. The yard could never recover from our year there, could it? I can't believe how unchanged Main Street is. Kind of sad. I love your view too.

How did I miss this post?! I guess I stopped checking since it hadn't changed in awhile! ;) I loved looking at all the pictures - I don't think I've ever been to your grandparents old home or to the old homestead. I'm glad Morty has adapted well (even if he's old and grumpy). - Kent
