1. I always thought I would be a professional ball player. Now I wish I could play golf for a living.
2. I've always enjoyed cars but never thought I would end up a car salesman!
3. The hardest thing I ever did was serve a mission. (I almost came home about a dozen times.)
4. Yard work is my theapeutic stress reliever.
5. I didn't think it would be so fun to be a Grandpa, and now I wish I could have spent more time with my own kids as they were growing up.
6. I always drove before I got my drivers license. When I asked my dad to take me to drivers ed, he said, "just take the car." I thought I was steeling the car even though my parents never cared if I took it. It wasn't until I met Pat and Pam that I was able to appreciate a true car theif.
7. When I was 8 years old I found $10,500.00 while playing hide and seek. I immediately turned it in to the police. Today I'm not so sure I would turn it in. (I'd at least count it first!)
8. I passed freshman English because my girlfriend sat next to me and she let me copy her answers. (Thanks Pat)

Yay, dad! I'm so glad you posted these before I left. I laughed and laughed ... and laughed.
Thank you for #5 - the kids love you so much. You are so wonderful with them - reminds me of when WE were little.
I can't BELIEVE your parents just told you to take the car to get your license. That is so funny! It's even funnier that you gained appreciation of theivery through Mom and Pam. :)!
Yay for the "helpers" in school. I believe I was one of those helpers, thank you very much. Sheesh - the cheatery of some people!! ;).
PS - I love the darling picture of you and Mom.
How fun it is to blog and to read about the people we love. I am so glad you enjoy being a grandpa-my Hanna Ban and Ethan love you so much-and so do me and James.
Love, Kristy
It's a good thing you do sale cars- becuase all of your kids got there cars from you. Dad you are the best Grandpa- and you where a great dad! English not my best subject either. Love you dad!
I remember Dad letting us steer home from church - I thought it was so exciting. Then Michelle taught me how to drive a stick when I was 13 - I'm not sure if Dad ever knew. He for sure wouldn't have let me take the car to driver's ed!
