Shopper's Rage

All I can say is: DON'T TAKE YOUR HUSBAND SHOPPING AT A GRAND OPENING. Brent totally lost it! We thought 2 1/2 hours would be plenty of time to travel, shop, eat and return by 1:00 pm. When we were trying to find the check-out/exit, it was about 12:20. Brent was literally running through the eisles like a crazed person. It was really sad(and quite funny). Kristy and I had to tell him to calm down, and follow the signs. Of course, navigating through the throngs of people was not easy. I think he made it to work by 1:05. Kris and I had to go up again later to get the things we wanted. I think I'll avoid the grand openings myself!

IKEA is more like an event than a store. We could have told you 2.5 hours was not nearly enough time - especially with Dad. (Especially with Dad who has to be somewhere!)

running around like a crazy person- would have been so funny to watch. I'm glad I was not there- but I am glad that you guys liked it and got what you wanted. So when I get back I want to go- so get ready to put your running shoes on again. ;)

2.5 hours is more than I can handle in ANY store. Maybe IKEA will change my mind - I'm sure I'll make it there someday. You guys got some neat stuff!

I have to admit - it is pretty comical to picture Dad running around with his head cut off through a HUGE store ... especially since he has sworn up and down to never shop at Target ... and literally DIES of embarrassment when we need to go to Wal-Mart. MY DAD - ya gotta love him :)!

I love how you find a song to match your blog of the day. Honestly though, this one is quite distracting. ;)!

Oh my goodness-I almost dropped all of my stuff and walked out of the store. Yeah, you didn't want to be there. It was out of control!
