EXERCISE - Why is it so hard? I brought my eliptical up from the basement where it was collecting dust and found a corner in my bedroom for it. No more excuses. I have a beautiful view out my window, an ipod plug-in so I can listen to music or audio books - I even have a couple of incentive type workout routines to get me going.
Today I tried multi-tasking. I dusted my blinds while I worked out. It's just not that much fun.
He is such a great guy - expert at landscaping, sprinkler installation, anything to do with trees, Christmas lights, and even turkey de-boning! He has been helping us with our basement - and just take a look -
Most of the wiring is done - it's like a miracle to me!
The wind has blown the snow up to a mountainous peak in our back yard. It would be perfect for a snow cave.
Opinion Section
I think it's funny that David Osmond was booted off American Idol so early. If you can't get anywhere with that name and all his famous relatives behind him, why would he get anywhere on American Idol? But- his mom knows he can sing.
Sometimes I like to read Dean Koontz novels. He's a pretty good writer.

Good blog-worthy topics! I think that any update is a good one!
James is marvelous~such a talented person!
How in the world did you work out and dust the blinds at the same time? I am impressed.
David had laryngitus(that's why he got the boot, or so they say). No way would they have done it if they had heard him in good form! We went and saw him twice in "Joseph", he was absolutely amazing!
I also saw him in "Joseph" I just remembered that now that Katy said something. But Katy is right this is blog worthy!
Mom you are SOOOOOO Funny to dust and work out that made me laugh out loud. That is funny! So how did it work? Did you clean your blinds good enough? LOL!!! :)
I also was going to say We are so thankful for James boy! What would we all do with out him? He helps anyone and everyone when they need help! James you are the BEST! you are such a hard worker and a great dad! I look up to how you seem to never stop-you are always working on some type of project! You are amazing and very skillful! We love you James and are so glad to have you in the family!
Hi Millers, I know what you mean Pat I am such a bad blogger, I just think I lead a boring life. By the way I am no longer in jail as my blog said. That job was not for me!!! Pretty harsh environment!!! I can see you dusting while working out! I also have an eliptical in the garage and I go out there and work out and all I can do is look around at my cluttered garage and it is so discouraging...it makes it hard to go exercise. Love Ya, Cindy
I love any update! I want to see what's going on back home no matter how mundane! I'm sure moving that eliptical up from the basement was a workout. If you did that everyday it wouldn't be so boring to exercise! :) - Kent
LOVE this "love/hate" post. :)
First off - I am laughing so hard at how you labled your last part the "Opinion Section". That's awesome. I don't keep up to date on American Idol ... but, I'm very surprised that Osmond didn't make it. Weird. I've also never read any Koontz - I'll have to give them a whirl.
We are so SO grateful to James as well. He is so generous and Christlike ... and talented. I'm sure he's the one that helped you get that monster elipticle upstairs. That was a good idea to put it in your bedroom. Knowing you ... you've probably used it a few times already. Great multi-tasking!
If we were still teenagers - there would FOR SURE be a snow cave out in your backyard. Of course, I'm surprised James hasn't built it. :) Your backyard is gorgeous. Very serene ... even with the huge snow drifts.
Thanks for a very entertaining post!
Happy Valentine's Day!
Great update! Great multi-tasking!! =D
I haven't watch American Idol even once this season, but that's too bad for the Osmond. Maybe next time!
I love to multi-task too, but never when I work out. That is too funny. I think that is funny too that David got kicked off Idol. Who is his mother? I heard rumors an Osmond tried out - but never figured out who it was. I think I need another Koonz - the books I've read lately are too serious!
