Here are the monster buildings on state street and 4th. They've gotten a lot done on them. They are huge!
The north side is going up a lot faster than the other one did.
On our day off this week we drove to Heber where we found a new restaurant called "Breadstix". It was yummy! It's by the train station and all the olden time shops.
We've been enjoying the beautiful Utah mountains in full fall color.
This is the new bridge leaving Deer Creek. It no longer follows the dam.

Wow - so Leisy and I always talk about how excited we are to see all the changes to Orem when we get home. This was a great post! We loved it. Thanks mom! The mountains are so beautiful - i love fall. The leaves are just beginning to change colors here - I guess it takes longer when it's not so dry. I'm excited for the parks here - they will also be very spectacular.
I hate those huge buildings going up. They are HUMUNGOUS and tower over everything! Maybe I'll like them better when they're all done. I honestly can't imagine anyone living there. Can you imagine living just off of State Street? That would be horrible (obviously my own personal opinion).
I had no idea that Deer Creek road was even up and running. Wow. It's been a long time since I've been up there.
Can't wait to try BreadStix - just the name sounds tempting. :)
Beautiful fall pictures!
I live right off of state street Michelle. Dagger to my heart.
Hahaha- I'm only kiddin. It isn't ideal to live on state street.
The pictures are so pretty! I want to eat at that little place looks so cute and fun. I LOVE FALL TIME!
